I believe the difference between being successful and not achieving your goals is personal development.
Getting your mind in the right place is the one small thing you can do that will have a major impact. The first and one of my favorite books is “You are a Badass” by Jen Sincero. If I am ever embarking on setting new goals (or resurrecting old ones) I pull this book out. If you are looking for the group hug, sitting around the campfire type guidance this book probably isn‘t for you. If you are looking for a gentle kick in the ass that won’t totally overwhelm you I highly suggest giving it a read (or get the audio version if you’re like me and don’t have 5 extra mins to spare).
Looking for other recommendations? Send me a message and I can give you more.
Don’t believe me? Most CEO’s read an average of 4-5 books a month, while the average person only reads 4-5 books a year.
